Howdy! My name is Savannah Knippa, founder of Country Concert Buddy! I launched this publication in 2022 as a way to share my passion for live music and connect fellow country music lovers. I’ve always been the concert friend aka the one who sends you updates when your favorite band announces a tour or films the performance of your favorite song on your phone, so you can sit back and live in the moment. I’ve dragged my friends to more concerts than I can count, and many of my best memories come from seeing live music!
For me, it’s not just the music that draws me in, but the entire concert experience. From the excitement before the show, to the variety of venues, to the incredible people you meet along the way — it all adds to the magic of live music. Country music, in particular, has always held a special place in my heart, with its rich tradition, storytelling, and authenticity. I’m committed to helping keep true country music and its values alive, supporting both the legendary artists who have shaped the genre and the up-and-coming talent that continues to carry the torch.
Country Concert Buddy is dedicated to celebrating not only the artists, but the passionate fans who cheer them on. Over the past few years, I’ve had the privilege of covering festivals, album releases, artist interviews, and much more — and we’re just getting started. My hope is that Local Concert Buddy will connect people who love country music, inspire them to attend live performances, and encourage continued support for the artists they admire.
